Louis (Lou) Cantolupo is currently the Director of Sales and Marketing at Omnia Biologics, Inc., a company he founded with three other scientists in 2002. Omnia is focused on the creation of process development capabilities and small-scale custom manufacture of biopharmaceuticals, primarily those of infectious nature (vaccines, gene therapeutics, biodefense agents). Prior to Omnia, Lou was an Associate Director of Business Development with DirectGene, Inc., where he was responsible for technology licensing and management of their contracted manufacturing projects. Lou also has several years of benchtop experience both in industry (GenVec, Inc.) and the government (NIH/NIAID).

Lou received a B.S. in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
