Planning Grants for NCI Cancer Research Centers

The (P20) Planning Grants for NCI Cancer Research Centers is being suspended by the NCI until further notice and no new applications will be accepted at this time for the program announcement (PAR-03-022). However, it is possible that the Planning Grant program will be reinstated under different guidelines at a later date. In the interim, the Cancer Centers Branch will be happy to explore other avenues for working with emerging centers. Any inquiries related the status of the program can be directed to the Cancer Centers Branch staff at 301/496-8531. For more information as to rational for the suspension you may refer to the recommendations presented in the report of the P30/P50 Working Group.
