Learning Objective

  1. To list questions regarding cultural appropriateness of the major theoretical constructs most often used to predict and explain cancer screening behavior.
  2. To explain the value of mixed methods research in understanding screening behavior (and the cultural appropriateness of behavior theory constructs).
  3. To list components of social context that can influence behavior in ways not accounted for by existing theories.
