Dr. Nancy Schoenberg is a Marion Pearsall Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Kentucky.

Learning Objective

  1. To review the community-based participatory research and other theoretical and methodological orientation that underlies this program of research.
  2. To inform and discuss the challenges and opportunities of faith-based and lay health advisor interventions for cancer control.
  3. To describe preliminary results of the intervention and new directions for future research.
