Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF)

Description: Adobe Acrobat Reader is a program that allows users to view files in Portable Document Format (PDF). PDF is a universal file format that preserves the appearance of the original document. PDF files can be easily printed but not easily modified.

File extensions: .pdf

Viewing: If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat, download Acrobat Reader for free.

Attention blind and visually impaired visitors: Access.Adobe.Com links to a set of tools that allow blind and visually impaired individuals to read any document in Adobe PDF format. The tools convert PDF documents into simple HTML or ASCII text that can then be read by a number of common screen reading programs that synthesize the HTML as audible speech.
